Effective advocacy requires clear and tangible goals.
As a member of the Boroondara Bicycle Users Group (BBUG), I developed a proposal to construct a new bicycle route in East Kew, Balwyn and Deepdene.
The proposal combines existing infrastructure with low-cost interventions that would be able to be installed relatively quickly and easily.
The aim of this project was to develop a concise yet comprehensive and realistic proposal to make the case for a safe and direct route for people riding bikes in northern Boroondara.
It constitutes a 13-page report together with a bicycle route audit of existing conditions and an advocacy website with an interactive map.
