After the extremely limited success of my original post from 2019 on croissant prices at Melbourne Airport, I have decided to give an update.
As before this list only applies to Terminal 4. I haven’t surveyed the other three terminals.

Options
As of October 2025, I found only six outlets selling croissants or a similar product, down from eight in 2019:
- Brunetti
- Croissant Lab
- Daniel’s Doughnuts
- Gusto
- Quikshots
- Soul Origin
Results
My survey results, in ascending order of price for a plain croissant are:
| Shop | Plain croissant price |
|---|---|
| Daniel’s Doughnuts | $4.90 |
| Brunetti | $6.50 |
| Gusto | $7.50 |
| Soul Origin | $7.60 |
| Quikshots | $8.50 |
| Croissant Lab | $11 |
On this basis, Daniel’s Doughnuts clearly comes out on top with the cheapest croissant at $4.90 each. This is even slightly cheaper than the 2019 lowest price, which was $4.95 at Krispy Kreme. Daniel’s Doughnuts don’t appear to mark up their prices at the airport on any of their products, which makes a welcome change.
It is also worth noting that the Croissant Lab croissant comes with a choice of jam or marmalade which may bump up the price. The Brunetti ‘croissant’ is also technically at cornetto, similar to but not the same as a French croissant.
As before, I didn’t try any of them so I can’t speak to their size or quality. These prices are also obviously subject to change.
I hope this is helpful to someone!
